Any free minute we have had these past few weeks - when the weather has cooperated - Michael and I have been outside working on our yard. We laugh about how we really don't know what we're doing. Our neighbor across the street has a Martha Stewart-approved yard and I joked with him the other night about how we're trying to compete. He complimented us and told us how much we have turned the place around.
We added edging along all of the beds and laid down new bark. We planted flowers and had a porch railing installed. We both love being outdoors, so most times it doesn't feel like a chore. The other night, after we finished, Michael joked how we got ahead of ourselves and now we don't have anything to do outside!
