Time flies. It's slipped away somewhere from underneath my feet. I think it's probably hiding in that pile of laundry I've been meaning to do. One year ago today, I married my best friend. I know - so cliche- but it's true. Yesterday morning, I pulled out the piece of cake that's been nestled in the back corner of our freezer, so that it will defrost for tomorrow. I told myself a year ago that I probably wouldn't remember to do it, but I did. I'm not sure if it will taste any good. I can't even remember if it tasted good on our wedding day. Wow - what a blur! I do, however, remember the good food I didn't eat on that day: yummy white chocolate covered Oreos and fruit kabobs. It's probably a good thing I didn't eat the latter. My fruit allergies make my mouth swell up, then again it would have made for an interesting honeymoon night!
