What's Up With You?

My one-month blog lapse has finally come to an end. I realized that I had used the excuse that I didn't have pictures to post, so I would wait until I did. But who knows when that will be - so I'm posting pictures of models that kindly stood in for Michael and I, since our lives have been so busy lately. Well, let's be honest, Michael's life has been busy and I've just been at home - but who's supposed to take pictures of me while he's gone?

This is Michael at his desk at the new Wal-Mart store in Twin Falls. He's on the phone conducting background checks and previous employer referrals for the 110 people he had to hire this past month.

This is me trying to decide what to bake/cook/fry/nuke for dinner. Can I say that I am actually a little bit proud of my developing domestic self? Yes? Ok thanks. Don't mind the fact that the clock reads 4:15 p.m. and Michael doesn't get home from work until 8 or 9 p.m. these days. Consider me on top of things! P.S. I am so proud of Michael for getting up at 5:30 a.m. and working all day until the sun goes down. He's a gem!

As for an update on the job hunt - well - it's over! My old job at ISU called me and wanted to know if I would work for them again as a graphic artist. I loved that job and it was hard to leave it, so of course I accepted. Since ISU is in Pocatello and I am not, they asked if I would be willing to work from home. It will work out perfectly with our apartment set-up and an actual room for an office, so I'm headed up in the morning to get my old Mac back (upgraded with the newest software!) and get back to the grind. Thanks be to Michael and my parents for putting up with my bored self while I was job hunting. Toward the end there, I was actually making stuff up for me to do to keep me my mind busy. Yeah. I don't do well without something to do.

Um yeah that picture of the lady is me!! Except I am usually still in my PJ's, and my hair is combed. That is awesome about your job! And I know the feeling of your Hubby being gone all day. It STINKS!!!!

You would think that if you didn't have a job that you would have updated your blog more often...uh, WRONG! It's about freakin' time! :) Glad to hear that you are employed again. How'd you get them to take you back???
